In our initial contact by phone or email, I will ask more about what brings you in for therapy, and we will decide what type of therapy would make the most sense for you: individual, couple, family and/or group. (Intrigued by the idea of group therapy? More on that here). From there we will figure out a good day & time for your first session.

Session length, rate & format

All sessions are 50 minutes and are billed at a rate of $165 per session.

Teletherapy is available for those who are out of town or who feel safer meeting remotely due to coronavirus concerns. Meeting in-person is possible with thorough discussion ahead of time and adherence to safety protocols, including mask-wearing during sessions. I do have a room air filter in my office as well.

Insurance

I am not currently paneled with insurance companies. Many insurance plans have out-of-network coverage, and some clients have had luck obtaining partial reimbursement for their therapy sessions with me. I’m happy to talk to you more about this process. Using an HSA card to cover the cost of therapy is another option.

** Please note that in order for me to provide the documentation necessary to request out-of-network reimbursement from insurance, we will first need to determine whether you meet the criteria for a mental health diagnosis, which would in turn become part of your permanent medical record.
